Our menu is crafted and designed to be served “family style” as we always highly recommend our guests to share dishes.  Our tomato salad with its iconic story, has been part of the menus served for more than 8 years, since the opening of the restaurant. The restaurant serves a variety of succulent local meats such as beef fillet, ribeye steak and lamb chops, which all meet Herbert Samuel's meticulous and uncompromising standards of quality.

Executive Chef Aviel Sandrusi is an accomplished chef with international experience and strong passion about locally sourced and israeli manufactured products. He and his team are dedicated to the culinary concept and perceive the customers on daily basis thanks to the interaction fostered by the open kitchen.

Chef Mor Cohen

Mor Cohen has been the Chef of the Herbert Samuel Restaurant in Herzliya, since the spring of 2015.

Mor began his culinary career at the renowned “Cramim” Restaurant, where he first realized that the art of cuisine was his calling.

He acquired his professional training at the London-based “Cordon Bleu Academy” and continued his career in the French Embassy and the London-based Ritz Hotel.

In Israel, he managed the kitchen of the Cramim Restaurant and later moved to Tel Aviv to work alongside famous Chef Yonatan Roshfeld at the “Yavne Montefiore” Restaurant. He then became Sous Chef at the “Herbert Samuel” Tel Aviv restaurant, and remained there until he became Head Chef of the Herbert Samuel Restaurant in Herzliya.

Mor specializes in the modern kosher kitchen and draws inspiration from all over the world. His open kitchen enables personal contact with restaurant diners where they can see Chef Cohen, together with his team, create culinary masterpieces with obvious delight.

Mor's Culinary Credo.

Mor advocates a healthy diet as a way of life rather than a passing trend. He proves that it is possible to cook gourmet dishes while keeping kosher, with an emphasis on uncompromising quality.
