Kosher chef restaurant Herbert Samuel is the culinary gem of The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya.

The restaurant, led by chef Haim Meir Cohen, specializes in local cuisine with international fusion touches, offering a gastronomic journey through the different regions of Israel.

The menu takes inspiration from the abundance of local produce and the cuisines of the Eastern Mediterranean. Chef Cohen adds a personal touch to classic dishes, blending his expertise in Galilean cuisine with the finest regional raw materials, all done with the utmost respect and attention to detail.

The cuisine of Herbert Samuel is seasonal, with new dishes created regularly, based on the fishermen’s catches in the adjacent ports of Jaffa and Ashdod, as well as our farmers’ crops.

The restaurant’s’ wine list complements both the dishes and the chef’s vision, and relies entirely on Israeli wines.

The wine list at Herbert Samuel’s restaurant celebrates local and artisanal creations.

The menu features wines from top wineries across Israel, including the Golan, Galilee, and the Negev Desert.

The selection includes aromatic whites and fresh rosés, along with powerful reds and aged, award-winning wines from Israel’s eponymous kosher wineries.

We take special pride and joy in our flagship series, the Ritz-Carlton journey of blends, created by the Herbert sommelier and chef, in collaboration with Vitkin local boutique winery.

Local Cuisine

The restaurant’s kosher menu draws inspiration mainly from the cuisines of the Eastern Mediterranean, with a personal touch of Chef Cohen. A journey of local flavor and tastes.

The restaurant sources its produce from Israel’s finest farmers and producers. All dishes are made with seasonal ingredients from various regions of the country: Fresh herbs, vegetables, fruits, as well as wild fish, caught by local fishermen as well as fine, Israeli mutton and beef.

Different varieties of olive oil are carefully selected for each dish, and sourced from authentic artisanal boutique producers.

The wine list is based on local boutique wineries, highlighting the best of Israeli wine production.
